We’re offering a $1000 scholarship!

Are you big on research and excited by new ideas that help lead product development?

What’s It All About?

Futurewood is a leading composite timber marketing and distribution business engaged in global sourcing and design of composite timber building products and associated plastic “timber look” building profiles.

New product development is a key part of our growth program and we are engaged with different manufacturers developing improved features in our composite and plastic building profiles to meet changing building standards and to exceed customer expectation.

Research and Development in the areas of composite timber and plastic building products design and manufacture is gaining pace around the world and we are looking to find a resource through the University stream either tertiary or post tertiary who can assist us with gathering and sorting current research. This research could further develop in to small scale R&D and eventually market commercialisation of what might be world first technology.

What’s In It For Me?

We are offering a USD 1,000.00 scholarship to a student who can put together a current overview of the design innovations in the global composite/plastic building products sector. Further scholarships/consulting work should follow through the ongoing phases of this program.
